We have just held our third webinar on "Rural Housing: Community-led Delivery and Community Energy".

The event was organised under the auspices of the Rural Housing Innovation Network, a UK-based network focusing on the many critical challenges associated with the delivery of affordable rural housing.

The webinar explored the contribution that community-led housing models can make to rural housing delivery. It examined how these models can leverage local support and resources to deliver affordable homes, while also highlighting the importance of community attachments and participation to successful and harmonious delivery of rural housing, particularly in the context of planning reform and continued emphasis on housing targets.

These issues were discussed following presentations by Tom Moore (University of Liverpool) and Harshavardhan Jatkar (University College London).
