The Smart and Sustainable Planning for Cities and Regions International Conference has reached the 5th edition, and it is taking place in Bolzano (Italy) from 9 to 12 December 2025. The conference is organised by Eurac Research (AESOP member), specifically by the Institute for Renewable Energy, a leading research centre in energy efficiency, renewables, smart mobility and sustainable urban planning.
Students, researchers, experts, and policymakers are welcome to participate and share their expertise and projects with an international audience. There are seven Thematic Tracks which shape the conference’s programme, ranging from adaptive regeneration to circularity, from smart mobility to AI for urban planning. Each Thematic Track covers one or more Special Sessions chaired by a heterogeneous group of experts.
The call for abstracts is now open until 3rd August. You can choose whether to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or for a digital poster. Do not miss the opportunity to share your research!
