A call is now open for applications for four PhD scholarships in the programme of Urban Planning, Design and Policy at Politecnico di Milano. The scholarships are part of the 211 PhD scholarships funded at Politecnico with investments provided by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for research related to the 38th cycle, starting in November 2022. These four positions are based on predefined research topics as follows:
- Ecological transition and a new paradigm for spatial planning: Performance indicators to select Nature-based solutions as design tools for regenerating the contemporary city;
- The contribution of digital platforms in a Recovery and Resilience perspective: exploring territorial impacts, inspiring public policies;
- The role of social actors in defining and implementing territorial development strategies oriented towards social and environmental sustainability and ecological transition;
- Broken Cities. The role of public action in supporting urban inclusiveness and the infrastructure of everyday life in the face of social, economic, and environmental inequalities.
