The Programme, is taught in English, and is shared by the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Architecture, both from the University of Porto.
It aims to provide students with a theoretical and practical experience for a deeper professional practice, beyond international borders, providing a variety of topics in the areas of planning, management and urban policy in medium and large agglomerations. Without losing its urban context, the main themes offered by the Programme, will be guided to the international debate on the environmental, social and economic fields. In this sense, the Programme will follow methods of studying and understanding national urban planning issues and, by analogy, distinguished international cases.
