We are glad to annunce that the 10th ISUF-H International Congress (International Seminar on Urban Form – Hispanic) has opened its call for abstract from 12 January to 27 February 2026. This international conference will take place in Valladolid (Spain) from 30 September to 3 October 2026, and is organised by the University Institute of Urban Planning (Instituto Universitario de Urbanística, IUU) of the University of Valladolid. The conference, titled 'Interdisciplinary Narratives', addresses Urban Form through a variety of academic disciplines. The full call for papers can be found at this link.
Abstracts, with a maximum length of 300 words, should be submitted in the corresponding section of the conference website, at this link, where instructions are available. All abstracts will be subject to blind peer review by the conference's Scientific Committee, whose composition can be consulted at this link. The abstracts will be reviewed by the conference organising committee, who will base their decisions on the recommendations made by the scientific committee. Authors will be informed of the committee's decisions between 16 March and 17 April 2026. The submission period for written papers (an optional requirement) will subsequently be initiated.
In order to motivate attendance at the conference by doctoral students, a reduced conference fee is guaranteed, as well as a prize (accompanied by a certificate) will be awarded to the most accomplished paper presented by a doctoral student (in both oral and written formats), on the condition that he/she is the sole author of the paper or the first co-author (accompanied only by their thesis supervisor(s)).

Del 12 de enero al 27 de febrero permanece abierto el envío de resúmenes para participar en el X Congreso Internacional ISUF-H (International Seminar on Urban Form – Hispanic), que se celebrará en Valladolid (España), del 30 de septiembre al 3 de octubre de 2026, organizado por el Instituto Universitario de Urbanística (IUU) de la Universidad de Valladolid. El congreso lleva por título “Narrativas interdisciplinares”, y la convocatoria completa se puede consultar en este enlace.
El envío de resúmenes, con una extensión máxima de 300 palabras, se realizará en el apartado correspondiente de la web del congreso, en este enlace, donde están disponibles las instrucciones. Todos los resúmenes serán sometidos a evaluación por pares ciegos, a cargo del Comité científico del congreso, cuya composición se puede consultar en este enlace. La aceptación o rechazo de los resúmenes será decidida por el Comité organizador del congreso a partir de las evaluaciones del Comité científico, y se comunicará a los autores entre el 16 de marzo y el 17 de abril de 2026. A continuación, se abrirá el plazo de envío de comunicaciones escritas (opcional).
Para fomentar la participación en el congreso de estudiantes de doctorado, se otorgará un premio (galardonado con un diploma acreditativo) a la mejor comunicación presentada por un estudiante de doctorado (obligatoriamente en formato tanto oral como escrito), siempre y cuando sea el autor único de la comunicación, o el primer coautor (acompañado únicamente por su/s director/es de tesis).
