The 1st International School on Landscape, Heritage and Sustainable Development (Cilento, Italy, 7–11 October 2026), organised by Heritage International Institute and Eurac Research, provides an intensive and practice-oriented programme combining international lectures, fieldwork and a Policy Lab focused on landscape governance, cultural heritage, territorial development, climate transition and innovation. Participants will work alongside leading scholars and practitioners to develop policy briefs and project proposals tackling real-world territorial challenges.

The School is directly promoted by HII, Eurac Research and the Archaeological Parks of Paestum and Velia - Ministry of Culture, and is offered under the patronage of the EU Commission.

Beyond the School itself, we hope to establish a long-term international network of scholars and practitioners interested in landscape, heritage and sustainable development, fostering future collaborations, research initiatives and project partnerships.

Aligned with this orientation, we will be glad to discuss with you possible agreements with your institution for and beyond the school!
