1-2 September 2008, Pedagogical challenges to planning education in the UK and Europe, Newcastle, UK

At the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the ESDP-ERASMUS Network, the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape and the ESDP-ERASMUS Network cordially invite proposals for individual papers for the conference. The conference is organised in cooperation with AESOP, ASC, CEBE, and HaSS Faculty at Newcastle University.
The conference aims to further the debate on the scientific, pedagogical and practiceoriented challenges to contemporary planning education in Europe and other world regions. Planning education is defined as education of planning analysis and methods with a territorial dimension and stressing the articulation between different spatial scales.
