The University of Manchester seeks to appoint a permanent lectureship to deliver and develop our teaching and research in the area of Environmental Planning the Department of Planning and Environmental Management in the School of Environment, Education and Development. The postholder is expected to particularly contribute to our MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management (MSc EIAM). The post is intended to strengthen the research and teaching capacity of the School and we would expect the successful postholder to have research and teaching interests (UK and International) in environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment and environmental planning. We welcome applications from individuals committed to high quality research leading to publications and with experience in research-led teaching.
The post involves teaching at both undergraduate and taught postgraduate levels, potential supervision of students up to PhD level, as well as scholarship and administrative roles as specified by the Head of Department. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who can complement and develop the capacity of our existing research themes and expertise.
