The Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), Sorocaba Technology and Science Institute, makes public the applications for one (1) Postdoctoral scholarship in the Geoprocessing and Environmental Mathematical Modeling research line, granted by FAPESP in process 2024/01128-5, referring to the Science Center for the Development of Social Housing in the State of São Paulo (CCD HIS SP), regarding the partnership between the Sorocaba Institute of Science and Technology (ICTS), the State Secretariat for Urban Development and Housing of São Paulo, and FAPESP.
The scholarship holder will be inserted in Research Line II: Geoprocessing and environmental mathematical modelling, of the Environmental Sciences Graduate Program- PPGCA, of ICTS.
ACTIVITIES:
1) Assist in developing the CCD HIS Project activity plan;
2) Assist in advising master's and doctoral students involved in the project;
3) Participate in scientific events to disseminate the results obtained in the project;
5) Publish at least two articles in journals with a high impact factor;
6) Teach courses related to the project theme.
OBLIGATIONS:
a) To dedicate exclusively to the research project;
b) Do not receive a grant from another entity, salary, or remuneration resulting from the exercise of activities of any nature;
c) To submit scientific reports and reports on the technical reserve resources within the
Grant Agreement (GA) deadlines, accompanied by the requested documentation;
d) Have in-depth knowledge and experience in data analysis and processing.

b) copy of PhD degree;
c) letter of recommendation from a researcher indicating experience in data analysis and processing;
d) a scientific article (or master's dissertation, doctoral thesis or other type of scientific production) of your authorship, demonstrating knowledge about the experience in data processing;
e) letter expressing the reasons and interests in the scholarship.

SELECTION PROCESS:
The selection process will be conducted between August 25th and August 29th, 2025, by the researchers who comprise the CCD-HIS Board of Directors. Candidate evaluation will include curricular analysis and experience in data analysis and processing, and this evaluation will be both eliminatory and classificatory. If necessary, an interview will be scheduled with candidates, which may be conducted in person or virtually via Google Meet.
