The C-NEWTRAL Doctoral Network (funded by the prestigious Horizon Europe Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions) is currently seeking applicants from highly ambitious candidates. The research aims to advance towards achieving climate-neutral cities from different dimensions (Urban Nature, Urban Mobility, Built Form, Energy, Circularity) through citizen engagement and decision-making support.
An excellent team of academics from six universities is providing supervision along with industrial experts providing training to Doctoral Candidates. The Researchers will be employed on a full-time basis for 36 months and based at one of the six host institutions (University College Dublin – the coordinating institution, University of Bologna, University of Girona, Heidelberg University, University of Helsinki, Queen's University Belfast. They will also spend time on secondment at non-academic partners, thereby ensuring that all Researchers will spend time in both academia and industry.
12 Doctoral Candidates will benefit from a competitive salary, social security, a monthly mobility allowance, and a family allowance, if applicable.
Applicants must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of the recruiting institution for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the date of recruitment.
