An online Conference on Challenges in Spatial Planning for Societal Transitions, organised by IST - Instituto Superior Técnico, POliTO -Politecnico di Torino and KTH- Royal Institute of Technology, with the support of GPEAN - Global Planning Education Association Network, will take place online on the 9th October, 11-13.30 CET.
The Conference aims at collecting insights on how spatial planning education needs to be (re)shaped to promote transformative change in spatial planning practice. We expect this session to contribute to shaping the content of the future Joint Master on Spatial Planning for Societal Transitions, promoted by IST, POliTO and KTH, with the aim to prepare students to deal with transition challenges in spatial planning. With this Conference we also aim to build a network of engaged individuals to promote events and support initiatives related to the Joint Master.
