The School of Real Estate and Planning at the University of Reading is offering a unique new postgraduate programme in International Planning and Sustainable Urban Management (IPSUM) that aims to prepare students for work in urban planning and management in the global South. The interdisciplinary course structure ensures that students are equipped with knowledge and skills that they will be able to apply in a range of different international contexts. Students opting for the MSc route (12 months full-time study) complete an interdisciplinary study project and go on an international work placement during the summer term. A shorter PG Cert and PG Diploma are also available. The course is accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. A limited number of fee reducing bursaries are available.
