The EU Naturescapes project is pleased to announce a Spring School focused on the politics and consequences of the growing engagement with nature-based solutions (NBS) across urban, peri-urban and coastal environments.
We invite PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and other early career scholars involved in research projects related to the benefits and trade-offs of expanding NBS to attend our 2025 Spring School, which will be held in person at Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa (ICS-ULisboa) from April 8 to 10, 2025.

- NBS governance for transformative change and justice
- Urban nature: contested values, meanings and benefits across scales and landscapes
- NBS and transformative futures: whose imaginaries and futuring practices
Application process: Submit an abstract for your presentation (max 500 words), a short bio and a letter of motivation, including which theme your presentation aligns with by November 30th via Google forms. Decisions will be sent by December 20th. Short papers (maximum 5,000 words) will be due by March 10th, 2024.
