Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping spatial planning research, education, and practice worldwide — offering new opportunities but also raising important questions about skills, ethics, and academic approaches.
To explore how European planning schools are responding to these developments, the newly established AESOP Task Force on AI in Planning has launched an online survey among AESOP member institutions.
The aim is to map current experiences with AI integration across curricula and research activities, identify emerging trends, and build a foundation for further collaboration within AESOP as well as with international partners such as ACSP’s Task Force on Urban Planning AI.
All colleagues working at planning schools across Europe are warmly invited to share their views by completing the short anonymous questionnaire (approx. 20 minutes):
The survey will remain open until Tuesday, March 31.
