AESOP would like to thank the University of Aveiro - Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences for the successful organization of the 2017 AESOP PhD Workshop.
The Workshop, with the theme Spaces for dialog for places of dignity: challenges for planning research took place from the 5th to the 8th of July 2017 in Aveiro.
We also wish to express a very special thanks to Paulo Silva, Chair of the Local Organising Committee, and to the co-Chairs Teresa Fidélis and Artur Rosa Pires for all their work and dedication to the organization of the 2017 AESOP PhD Workshop as well as to Aoife Doyle (Young Academics Network), Carlos Rodrigues, Eduardo Anselmo de Castro, Fernando Nogueira, Frederico Moura e Sá, Gonçalo Santinha, João Lourenço Marques, José Carlos Mota and José Manuel Martins for their contribution to the success of this event.
