AESOP is looking for candidates for the Chair of the AESOP Excellence in Education Board (2023 – 2026)
The Chair will be responsible for the overall coordination of the Board, for managing the Quality Recognition Program and in particular to guarantee the quality and transparency of the assessment processes for awarding the AESOP CERTIFICATE OF QUALITY.
According to the AESOP Charter (Art. 16e) the Chair of the AESOP Excellence in Education Board is an AESOP Official and therefore must be elected by the Council of Representatives. The mandate of the Chair lasts for 3 years.

We are looking for a committed and dedicated candidate, fluent in English and familiar with the Board requirements: experience in preparing, running and evaluating educational programmes in planning with international cooperation. Communication skills would also be highly desirable.
Procedure of election includes selection of the candidates made by Executive Committee and final confirmation by Council of Representatives at the 2023 Head of Schools CoRep meeting on 23 March, 2023. The newly elected Chair will assume the post in July, 2023 during the AESOP Congress in Lodz. The new Chair of EEB, will be expected to shadow the current Chair of the EEB after election until s/he assumes the post in July.
