We are pleased to announce that the AESOP Council of Representatives has elected Hossam Hewidy as the next AESOP GPEAN Representative (2025–2029).
Hossam is a Senior University Lecturer in-charge of urban and regional planning education at the Department of Architecture at Aalto University and has been actively involved in the AESOP community. He will officially assume the role from August 2025 to July 2029, with the current GPEAN Representative, Paulo Silva, providing guidance to ensure a smooth transition.
We would also like to express our deep gratitude to Professor Paulo Silva for his outstanding service and dedication to AESOP throughout his tenure as GPEAN Representative (2019–2025)
