Exploring the Application and Challenges of Urban Planning Legal Systems Guided by Nature-Based Solutions: A Case Study of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan

This outstanding contribution was recognised for its theoretical originality, methodological rigour, and relevance to contemporary planning challenges.

Two additional papers received Honourable Mentions for their excellence and contribution to planning scholarship:
🔹 Ozlem Edizel Tasci – Addressing Climate Equity Through Community Engagement on Virginia’s Eastern Shore
🔹 Sidra Khokhar – A Critical Ethnographic of Ziddi Feminist Socio-Spatial Practices in a Modern-Mohalla of Islamabad

These papers reflect the high quality and diversity of research presented at AESOP 2025, and we warmly congratulate the authors for their achievements.
