Following the cancellation of the 19th IPHS Conference that was to be hosted by the Moscow Architectural Institute from 4-6 July 2022, the International Planning History Society is pleased to announce that an alternative hosting arrangement has been made and that the conference will proceed as a two-day virtual event on 5-6 July 2022.

Professor Carola Hein, History of Architecture and Urban Planning, TU Delft, and IPHS VicePresident, will convene the conference.

The program will include parallel sessions for the presentation of papers, the Gordon Cherry Memorial Lecture and the IPHS Prizes and Awards 2022. Authors whose abstracts were accepted for the cancelled conference will be contacted regarding the new event.

The due date for the submission of full papers, prepared using the IPHS conference paper template, will be extended to 30 April 2022. Authors will be asked to indicate whether they wish to have their full paper refereed. Only refereed full papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

A conference registration fee will apply. Authors who wish to present their papers will be required to pay the registration fee to secure their participation.
