POLIS University, Tirana, has a Center of Excellence on Housing, Planning and Development

POLIS University and Co-Plan Institute for Habitat Development in Tirana, Albania, thanks to the cooperation with the Housing Department, Ministry of Finance of Albania, and UNECE - United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, have established a Center of Excellence on Housing, Planning and Development with focus on sustainability and resilience.

The center is named OMB - Observatory of the Mediterranean Basin, making a geographic connection to the Western Balkans region and Mediterranean perspective, and is part of a network of 8 centers of excellence in Europe and North America also established in cooperation with UNECE.
