"Urban future-making: Situating agency within the built environment“,
organized by the Research Training Group „Urban Future-Making“ at HafenCity University of Hamburg, Hamburg University and Hamburg University of Technology.
The conference will take place at the premises of HafenCity University Hamburg on 05-06 May 2025. The programme will include a keynote by Prof. Maarten Hajer (Utrecht).
We invite papers from scholars working on various aspects of urban future-making along five streams:
Submission of abstracts of 500 words is open until 10 January 2025. Selected papers will be invited to contribute to our new peer-reviewed book series "Urban Future-Making" with the publisher transcript.
The first volume of the series titled "Conflicts in Urban Future-Making" is now published and available as e-book in open access from the publisher's website.
