The French and British Planning Studies Group, which has been in existence for 10 years, brings together academics and some practitioners on both sides of the Channel who have an interest in Franco-British comparative study.  Presentations and participant interventions may be made in either French or English, as individuals prefer. Interpretation is not provided. Meetings are held twice a year and alternate between France and Britain; the practice has been to identify a theme which may be studied in both French and British contexts.  Papers are invited from both members of the Group and from outside experts in the chosen theme.
