Research Associate (50%) for a funded research project, University of Technology, Germany

We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate 50% (E13 TV-L) complementing our team in a research project funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). The project aims at identifying emerging patterns and leading urban players in the German space economy. It applies a relational research concept in order to assess Mega-City Region development in Germany. Going beyond recent research on Mega-City Regions, this comprehensive approach allows differentiating the roles of small and medium sized cities and towns within the globalizing knowledge economy in the German space economy. The appointment starts at the 1st of November 2008 or by arrangement and is fixed for 28 months.
