Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant in Planning and Land Value Policy in the School of Geography and Planning at Cardiff University (link above). This is a part-time, fixed-term post to support the delivery of an ESRC-funded research project. The post will run from 11 July 2023 to 10 April 2025 at 60% of the full-time equivalent (3 days per week).
The successful candidate will be a post-doctoral researcher, ideally with expertise in the politics of land policy and planning. A specialism in betterment and land value capture policy would be helpful, but is not required. The post has been created to support the delivery of the ESRC-funded research project 'Ideology, housing and land value capture: Uncovering the politics of development land value'.
