This post is part-time and fixed term until June 2027. The post will begin at 14 hours per week until December 2026, where hours will reduce to 7 hours per week until June 2027. The salary stated above is the pro-rata amount for 14 hours per week, the full-time salary would be between £30,408 to £33,249 per annum (Incl. LWA).
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Administrator to join our research team at the University of Westminster. This role supports two innovative research projects: COMMON_ACCESS, focusing on enhancing accessibility in urban outskirts through community-based solutions, and JUST STREETS, aimed at transforming street infrastructure to promote sustainable mobility and social justice.
The appointed candidate will serve as the primary administrative contact for both projects and will manage communications with internal and external stakeholders. They will coordinate and manage project documents, financial records, and data collation. They will be responsible for organising and supporting meetings, both online and in-person, including stakeholder events and virtual conferences.
The successful candidate will maintain and update the COMMON_ACCESS project website. They will manage the projects’ social media presence and liaise with the university’s press team, as well as monitor project budgets, handle financial transactions, and support expense reimbursements. The project administrator will also assist with the supervision of interns and temporary project assistants. They must ensure timely reporting of project data to relevant university departments and external bodies.
