Fully funded ESRC 3+1 PhD studentships, University of Liverpool, Department of Civic Design

The Department of Civic Design at the University of Liverpool invites applications from suitable candidates for a fully funded ESRC 3+1 PhD studentship within one of its two main research areas:
* (a) spatial planning and environmental assessment,
* (b) socio-economic policy evaluation and geo-demographics in spatial planning.
The studentship is for a 1 year of Masters research training plus 3 years of study towards a PhD for the period 2009-2013. Interested candidates who have the minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree should send their applications (including a PhD research proposal and a cv) to the Department’s postgraduate research director.
