RTPI Education Review - Consultation

In January 2003 the RTPI Education Commission published its final report, which makes a number of recommendations regarding planning education and its links to membership of the RTPI. Five years on it is now appropriate to review those recommendations from the Commission that have not yet been taken forward, to assess whether they are still appropriate and whether there is a demand from the profession. This is also in the context of reviewing the RTPI’s policy statement on initial planning education to confirm its fitness for purpose. In order to take forward this review, the consultation papers will be issued in a number of stages and will be available through RTPI web pages. First consultation papers emerging from the current Education Review are now live on the RTPI’s website. This is the first stage of the consultation, with additional papers to be added at a later date.
