We also wish to extend a special thanks to Adrianna Kupidura, Chair of the Local Organising Committee and to Małgorzata Barbara Havel for all their work and dedication to the organization of the AESOP Heads of Schools Meeting and for their contribution to the success of this event. The team from Warsaw has shown tremendous dedication to the task and remarkable reliability and we would like to extend our gratitude to the Doctorate Assistants and Staff of the Department of Spatial Planning and Environmental Sciences who helped during the event.
A special acknowledgment goes to Tadeusz Markowski (Committee for Spatial Economy and Regional Planning, Polish Academy of Sciences), Michele Campagna (Università di Cagliari) and Nicolas Douay (University Paris-Diderot), who presented most stimulating keynote speeches and to our invited Chairs of the Workshops: Adbel Hamdouch (University Francois Rabelais), Jan Schreurs (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven) and Michele Campagna (Università di Cagliari), for all the fruitfull generated discussions.
The event has been a great joy and pleasure to all of us, and has been so largely thanks to the work and hospitality of our Polish colleagues, to whom we remain grateful.
