The 23rd Congress of the Association of European Schools of Planning took place in Liverpool (UK) on the 15th - 18th July 2009.
Why can't the future be more like the past?
The conference theme enables us all to reflect upon and celebrate the history of planning and planning education since the Department was founded. However, the main focus is on how the lessons from the past can be used to deal with the many challenges and opportunities facing planning and planners in the future.
