The Secretary General got two bids for hosting the AESOP Congress in 2015. The applications came from the Czech Technicla University in Prague and the Instituto Superior Technico in cooperation with Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning, University of Lisbon, and both presented very ambitious content. Karel Maier presented the bid on behalf of the Czech Technical Univeristy andJosé Antunes Ferreira presented the bid of behalf of the University of Lisbon.
The ExCo, greatly appreciating both tenders, did not recommend any of them to the Council.

The 2015 AESOP Congress will take place in Prague.
The Council of Representatives and the ExCo would like to express a word of gratitude to both the Czech Technical University in Praguge and the University of Lisbon for their outstanding work and commitment.
