The 15-minute city concept presents an urban planning approach seeking to provide local communities with essential modern-life amenities, such as employment  opportunities, public services, leisure facilities, and fundamental conveniences within a short 15-minute walk or cycle from their residences. In this dedicated session, we will address some of the pivotal unresolved questions. How can we create more opportunities to reduce current reliance on automobiles, generate compelling evidence to facilitate change, and pinpoint noteworthy instances of cohesive policies that actively counter such dependence? Furthermore, we will explore methods to encourage individuals through incentives and guarantee that no members of the community are overlooked or disadvantaged in the process.
